A Walk Among the Trees

Join us for a fun outdoor adventure as you wander among the trees at The Mariners’ Museum Park with tree expert Daina Henry, President of the Peninsula Master Naturalists. An interesting experience for both adults and children ages 5-10 years old, come learn about the animals that rely on the trees and forest for food, shelter, and protection. Henry will also give tips on identifying the various tree species that make up the 550 acres of The Mariners’ Park. Enjoy the outdoors this summer!

This guided walk will meet at Harvey Field, which is located on Museum Drive between the Museum and the Lions Bridge. The tour will take less than a third of a mile (approximately 30-40 minutes) along the Noland Trail.
