Event Description

The Mariners’ Museum and Park Teacher Professional Development sessions will provide teachers with numerous teaching strategies on various historical topics that can be incorporated in their classroom. Participants will develop activities and create lessons aimed at engaging the 21st century learner.

This two-day session will focus on using different technological platforms to better analyze primary sources. Teachers may join for one or two days. The 2021 professional development sessions will take place virtually June 28-29 and July 12-13.

 
Helpful Registration Information

This Program is a virtual interactive event hosted via Zoom. However, you do not need a Zoom account to participate. When joining your Teacher Professional Development session, you may be asked to enter your name and email address.

If you have not yet applied for a scholarship, please complete the scholarship application before registering. A discount code to be used when registering will be given to all approved applicants. Apply for scholarship here

If you would like to register for multiple days of Teacher Professional Development at once, select the “Add Events” link when viewing your cart. Add each Teacher Professional Development registration to your cart, apply your discount code and complete your transaction.

After you have completed your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to join the Zoom Teacher Professional Development. Each day will have a different Zoom link. Please save your confirmation email and link to use the day of your Teacher Professional Development session.
