Event Description
Join us as author and historian John V. Quarstein, director emeritus of the USS Monitor Center, talks about how the success of USS Monitor influenced the surge to build more monitors, and their continued impact into the 20th century.
This lecture is part of the Battle of Hampton Roads Commemoration. Advance registration is required as seating is limited.
Attendees may ask John questions following the lecture, and John will be available for a book signing at 12 p.m.
