Event Description

Join us as author and historian John V. Quarstein, director emeritus of the USS Monitor Center, presents the incredible stories of two Native American leaders in the Civil War: General Stand Watie, CSA, and Colonel Ely Parker, USA.

This lecture is part of The Mariners’ celebration for Native American Heritage Month!
